Dr. John Childress focuses on Sports Medicine and non-operative orthopedics. He is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at FIU- Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. A native of Arkansas, Dr. Childress received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Central Arkansas.

Dr. Childress is board certified in Emergency and Sports Medicine. He is currently a resident of Miami and has practiced medicine in South Florida since 2006. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and has completed advanced fellowship certification in metabolic and nutritional medicine.

Dr.  John Childress focuses on Sports Medicine and non-operative orthopedics. He is trained in the utility of musculoskeletal ultrasound and uses ultrasound for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. He is also trained in the prevention and treatment of concussions and has published research in this area.
